I left a comment on Pam's exactly what shows I watch, but I never seem to watch them on the night they actually come on. I guess I watch about 2-3 hours of TV a day and weekends probably more since ball games are on and I can go in another room and catch up on my weekly shows.
The TV is off while the kids are awake, especialy during the weekdays. Since they are in bed between 7:30 and 8:00 I still have awhile to watch some TV to close out the day and have some talking time with Brian before I go to bed about 11:30 or midnight.
DVR help with the insanity of 'having' to watch TV. Now I feel like I fit the shows in that I want to watch, or the days I am sick although I might be two weeks behind. With a new baby on the way I am saving up some shows so when I am up at all hours of the night I actually have something I like to watch on TV;) America's Next Top Model rocks at 3AM!
2-4 hours a WEEK? Seriously?!?!?
I'm with Jenny. The TV is off while the kids are awake. Once they're in bed I turn on the DVR to catch up. I probably watch about 2 hours a night on the nights I get to watch anything at all. Love the DVR- I can fastforward through most of Dancing with the Stars and only watch exactly what I want to watch- it really cuts back on the time!
Ditto, about 2 hours a night. (I watch a little during the day- I love my entertainment news!)
The girls will watch Deal or no Deal with us (when we watch it). And Maddie loves Dancing with the Stars. She gets to watch about 30 minutes of it. But other than that, we wait until they go to bed. Maddie goes to bed at 8:00, so then we can watch shows we recorded at 7:00, and skip all of the commercials. Deal or No Deal is great to watch in fast forward. No drama involved. And the results show of Dancing with the stars- well, I can watch it in about 15 minutes.
I know I am totally tv addicted. I have wondered what I would do without it! I even have to turn it on first thing in the morning, so I know what the temp is going to be, so I know what to wear!
